How to: Upgrading SSIS 2005 Packages to SSIS 2008

Issues Experienced:

  • SQL Server 2008 performance decreases when you use a dataflow task that involves a fast load
  • HOTFIX: Error message when you run a SQL Server 2008 Integration Services package that contains an Execute SQL Task that runs a stored procedure: “The type of the value being assigned to variable “” differs from the current variable type”
